Welcome to the Raccoon River Park Boathouse located on Blue Heron Lake in West Des Moines, IA. We have been offering non-motorized boat rentals since 2020 and have a selection of kayaks, canoes, paddleboat, stand up paddle boards, fishing kayaks, and bicycles. We are excited to offer the options of; renting boats on Blue Heron Lake and the Raccoon River, as well as renting bicycles for the trails around the park. Please explore the rentals and stop by for a paddle! We have reservations available and also walk-up rentals!
Directions:
Enter Raccoon River Park using the main (West) entrance off of Grand Ave. Continue straight into the large parking lot. The boat rental is the brown building to the left (East).
