Welcome to the Raccoon River Park Boathouse located on Blue Heron Lake in West Des Moines, IA. We have been offering non-motorized boat rentals since 2020 and have a selection of kayaks, canoes, paddleboat, stand up paddle boards, fishing kayaks, and bicycles. We are excited to offer the options of; renting boats on Blue Heron Lake and the Raccoon River, as well as renting bicycles for the trails around the park. Please explore the rentals and stop by for a paddle!
