Every Thursday from May until the end of August at Lake Ahquabi State Park beach five miles south of Indianola.

Our weekly test paddling night is for customers who know they plan to get a canoe or kayak in the near future and are simply trying to decide which one they should purchase.

This is not the event to attend if you are new to paddling and simply want to try out canoeing or kayaking to see if you like it. If this is what you are doing please attend one of our Intro To Paddling Tours or rent a canoe or kayak from our Lake Ahquabi Boat Rental.

Try Before You Buy Test Paddling begins at 6 pm and lasts until 7:30 pm. We will have a variety of canoes and kayaks for people to test paddle at the beach. This will be free at the beach . To check on specific models or to request a certain type please call the store 24 hours ahead of the demo. We will try to accommodate but won't always be able to have what you want available.

Our Weekly Test Paddling night takes place every Thursday from 
6 pm until 7:30 pm at the beach at Lake Ahquabi State Park.

* Participation in this event requires pre-registration. 
    You must call CanoeSport Outfitters and provide some basic 
    information if you plan to attend this event.
* Each person may request no more than 3 models to test paddle. 
* Requesting a specific model doesn't guarantee it will be available.

* Test Paddling, 6 pm to 7:30 pm
        Participation is free if you pre-register! But you must let us 
know in advance if you will be attending.

Heavy wind or thunderstorms may require us to cancel this event. We 
will generally make a decision by 4 pm and post it on this web site.
