CanoeSport Outfitters is 100% dedicated to the sport of paddling. We don't switch to skiing in the winter or split our focus with other outdoor activities during the summer. We make every effort to have staff on hand who are experienced, skilled paddlers. Additional staff are made up of enthusiasts who are in the process of developing their paddling knowledge and skills.

We don't belieive in on-line or catalog sales. These venues do not allow personal attention and they don't provide the opportunity to test paddle. Getting in canoes and kayaks and learning the fundamentals is the only way to assure you get the best boat for your type of paddling and paddling style.

We are also dedicated to doing more than simply selling a product to our customers. Our responsibility is to provide ample opportunities for you to acquire knowledge and develop as a paddler. To this end, we provide free instruction with every boat purchase. We also do a variety of on-water and class room clinics, events, and seminars throughout the year. Even in the sales process we spend extra time explaining tracking, stability, materials, boat design, and more.

Finally, we believe in a long-term relationship and do many events which are discounted or participation is limited to those who have purchased a boat from us. This includes many of our adventure trips and some of our instructional courses and clinics.

Demofest is our annual on-water test paddling event. We typically provide nearly 100 different canoes and kayaks for customers to test paddle at Lake Ahquabi.
