CanoeSport Outfitters spent the morning and early afternoon of May 18th providing a paddlesport experience for nearly 60 junior high school students from Melcher Dallas. Students were split into four groups and introduced to both canoeing and kayaking during one hour sessions on the beach at Lake Ahquabi State Park.

Despite a windy day everyone had a great time and had a positive experience. We even had several teachers join in the activities.

CanoeSport provides numerous events and opportunities for kids to experience the sport of paddling. We offer brief introductory clinics such as this event and more instruction oriented classes and even adventure trips.
