We believe in providing a quality purchasing experience and doing more than selling a product. Here are a few of the more important advantages we provide to those who choose to purchase their canoe or kayak from CanoeSport Outfitters.

Knowledgeable staff. Both owners are certified instructors and coaches. They are also life long paddling enthusiasts with first-hand knowledge of local rivers and lakes, as well as experienced paddlers of whitewater, sea, and open lakes across the United States. Additional staff is given opportunities to take trips and further develop their own skills and knowledge base which they can pass along to you.

Free Instruction. Everyone who purchases a canoe or kayak from CanoeSport Outfitters is given the opportunity to take an instructional course for free. The course depends on the type of boat purchased and is taught by an experienced, qualified instructor.

Guaranteed Trade. Any canoe or kayak purchased from CanoeSport Outfitters can be traded back to our store for a NEW canoe or kayak. The trade in value varies according to age and usage, but we guarantee we'll shoot you a price and try to save you the hassle of selling the boat yourself.

Free Labor On Maintenance & Repairs. Canoes and kayaks purchased from CanoeSport Outfitters are eligible to have minor repairs and maintenance taken care of free of labor charges.

Boat Buyer Only Clinics. Throughout the year we will often organize clinics and special training events for boat buyers only. Before Demofest, in April, we typically offer "How To Demo A Canoe or Kayak" to people who have put down deposits at our Expo event. We'll also provide boat buyer only test paddling opportunities so new models can be tried without the large crowds and chaos of an open demo.

Boat Buyer Only Sales. Before sales events, particularly our Used Gear Sale in the fall, we'll give boat buyers the opportunity to see and purchase our used gear. Typically this takes place the night before the event starts and is combined with free hot dogs, brats, and burgers.

Trip Discounts. Most of our tours and trips are available to boat buyers at a discounted rate. This allows us to help you expand your experiences and provide more

opportunities to instruct and teach. Trips include Louisiana Bayous and Coasts, Everglades Adventures, Boundary Waters Canoe Trips, and occassional Apostle Islands tours.

Support Of The Padling Community. CanoeSport Outfitters promotes paddling in general and supports all local clubs and organizations. Clubs, river organizations, and water trails groups have historically used our events to help organize and inform Iowa's paddlers. By supporting us you help support all of their efforts as well.
