Staff News And Updates

CanoeSport staff will be guiding customers in the Everglades from January 18th through the 22nd. We'll head to Florida a few days early to get in a day or two of crewing for a sailing company in Key West. The store will close from December 24th until January 18th for our regular winter break and one of us will be around to open while the trip is taking place.

November 9th through the 13th was our annual trip to the Louisiana Bayous and Coast. Jeff and SHireen guided several customers on the five day four night trip. The weather was great with only a few showers and rain on Monday. The group saw alligators and a variety of birds, while enjoying relaxing evenings in modern cabins.

CanoeSport staff enjoyed a backpacking trip on the Centennial Trail in the Black Hills this past September. Jeff, Casey, Shireen, and Riley covered 18 miles in two days. It was Riley's first backpacking trip and first overnightcamping trip. Jeff completed another 37 miles solo.
